WHAT WE DO

Engineers Without Borders - Université de Sherbrooke Chapter aims to provide lasting solutions to systemic problems. It tackles these issues in two ways: by supporting EWB Canada in its national endeavors and by bringing initiatives to its own community. Discover how active our group is!

LOCAL ACTIONS

Here's a brief summary of our current projects to give you an idea of how you could make a difference in your community by joining EWB Sherbrooke!

Classroom

RESPONSABLE CITIZEN WORKSHOP

ISF Sherbrooke offers teachers  all our Quebec the opportunity to book an interactive and educational activity in their school!

The SES project aims to make the younger generation aware of global issues to which they are not regularly exposed, in particular access to drinking water and international cooperation.

ECOSIA

Ecosia is a search engine that uses its advertising revenue to plant trees!

ISF Sherbrooke has replaced Google by Ecosia as the default search engine on all computers in the UdeS faculty of engineering and now aims to extend its project to the rest of the university. We encourage you to do this on your own computer!

Picking Up Trash

CLEAN UP YOUR STREETS!

EWB Université de Sherbrooke aims to educate its community about our waste production.

Therefore, we organize events that consist of picking up litter in the streets of Sherbrooke to raise public awareness of this issue and make our city a better place to live!

EWB's actions

In addition to its local projects, EWB Université de Sherbrooke Chapter contributes to projects initiated by EWB Canada. Discover the actions taken by our parent organization on a national and international scale!

ADVOCACY

The accumulation of small individual actions generates an incredible result, which is the best way to have an impact as citizens. This is exactly what EWB Canada does in its national advocacy campaigns addressed to the Canadian government.

Each EWB chapter advocates to their local MPs for a common goal, which enables us to have a significant impact on the administration in place and bring change in the issues we have at heart.
