EWB
University of Sherbrooke

Chapters are the beating heart of EWB. Across Canada chapter members are taking thoughtful and strategic actions to create profound social change in their universities, companies, and communities.

EWB Sherbrooke is a student organization at the University of Sherbrooke. We are a vibrant community of students with a unique approach to global development – addressing root causes to create lasting change. The Sherbrooke chapter is one of 39 across Canada working together to eradicate systemic poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.

At EWB Sherbrooke, we have two main fields of action : first, we initiate environmental actions with a sustainable development objective and we also aim to create a community of leaders among young people.

We also host two flagship events: the Run to End Poverty and the Night Without Borders. Also, during the 2021-2022 year, EWB Sherbrooke hosted the Quebec Regional Retreat, during which members of EWB's 4 chapters from Quebec came to Estrie for a fun and informative weekend.
